Precision engineering at the scale of digestion.
SiPore® starts with a familiar material - silica - and turns it into a precisely engineered functional technology. The innovation lies in the physical design of the particle: its size, structure and controlled pore architecture are engineered to create a specific interaction with digestive enzymes. That particle design underpins both the function of SiPore® and a growing intellectual-property portfolio protecting the technology and its applications.

The material is only the starting point.
Silicon dioxide is the material basis of SiPore®. What makes SiPore® distinctive is the way that material is engineered. The particles are manufactured with carefully controlled physical characteristics, including particle size and porosity. The pore structure gives SiPore® its function during digestion.

Core statement Silica is the material. The engineered particle is the technology.
Function designed into the structure.
SiPore®’s function is physical. Its precisely controlled pores create a size-selective environment that allows the particles to interact with digestive enzymes during digestion. Evidence from preclinical research supports the physical entrapment of enzymes such as amylase and lipase within the pore structure. This enables SiPore® to influence digestion locally in the gastrointestinal tract without needing to enter the bloodstream.

The function belongs to the particle, not the package.
SiPore® is not defined by a capsule, gel, powder or any other single delivery format. The technology resides in the engineered porous particle. That creates flexibility to develop different finished-product formats while preserving the central SiPore® principle: precision-engineered material designed for a specific local function.
Different formats. One engineered platform.
Research creates new IP. IP enables new research.
SiPore® began with a material-science question:
The question Can porous silica be engineered to perform a controlled biological function? Research into that question led to new particle designs, new applications and new intellectual property. As the platform develops, the same cycle continues.

The innovation is not the existence of silica.
It is the precision engineering of the particle and its pore structure - and the intellectual property built around that engineering and its applications.
