Privacy & statistics
The short version
- No cookies for visitors, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and nothing is sold or shared.
- We always count basic, anonymous page visits on our own server. That needs nothing from your device.
- Details such as clicks, scrolling, reading time, screen size and page speed are only collected if you click Allow.
What we count for everyone
When your browser asks our server for a page, the request itself tells us which page it is, the page you came from (if your browser shares it), your approximate location at country, region and city level and the network you connect through (from our host, Cloudflare), and the type of device and browser. We use these only as totals.
To tell visitors apart within a single day, we create a short one-way code from your IP address and browser details, mixed with a random value that is deleted after two days. Your IP address is never stored, and the code cannot be traced back to you or linked across days. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't create this code at all.
What we count only with your permission
If you click Allow, a small script on our pages also records the links and buttons you click (for example to the SIGRID stores or to contact us), how far you scroll, how long you actively read, your screen and window size, your connection type, whether you use light or dark mode, and how quickly the page loaded for you. If you click No thanks, or your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script never runs.
What we store on your device
Only your answer to the statistics question, saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page. We ask again after 6 months if you said no, and after 13 months if you said yes. Signed-in staff, and people using our preview password, also get a login cookie that the site needs for that.
How long we keep it
Individual page events are deleted after 35 days. After that we keep only daily totals, for example “12 visitors from Sweden on 3 March”, for about two years.
Who is responsible
Sigrid Therapeutics AB (org.nr 556958-3023), Vasagatan 14A, 172 61 Sundbyberg, Sweden, runs this site. The site and its statistics are hosted by Cloudflare, which acts on our behalf. We use no third-party analytics or advertising services.
