STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 10, 2026 — Sigrid Therapeutics today announced the publication of the SHINE clinical trial in eClinicalMedicine, a peer-reviewed journal in The Lancet Discovery Science portfolio. The publication represents the culmination of more than three years of clinical development and over fifteen years of scientific research behind SiPore®, Sigrid's proprietary technology platform for metabolic health. As the company's largest and most comprehensive clinical study to date, SHINE is an important scientific milestone and significantly strengthens the body of peer-reviewed evidence supporting the continued development of SiPore®. "Publication in a Lancet journal is one of the most important milestones in Sigrid's history," said Professor Tore Bengtsson, Founder of Sigrid Therapeutics, Professor of Physiology at Stockholm University and senior author of the publication. The study enrolled 318 participants across 27 clinical centres in Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
